History

After many years of successful business since 1959, Leonard Light Industries (Pty) Ltd has grown into the Keegor Group of companies.

The reasons for the establishment of Keegor Group (Pty) Ltd are numerous, but mainly to serve the needs of all our clients in a more specific way and to structure future growth in a defined and strategic manner.

Leonard Light Industries (Pty) Ltd was formed in 1959 by Mr Keith Gordon Leonard. His name contributed to both the company name as well as our trademark, which is a portmanteau from his first and middle names forming 'Keegor.' Mr Leonard ran the business successfully until 1975 when he sold the company to Mr Reginald (Reg) Stevenson.

The business remains as a family-owned (third generation) entity, with a long-term vision through sustainable strategic development and engagement with key stakeholders.
